Greetings fellow Bulldogs, my name is Zachary Ortiz and I’m a student just like you. I plan on majoring in Marketing and minoring in Psychology. As one of your peers, I too looked forward to an exhilarating college experience. However, the social aspects and learning environment have lacked for a few years due to Covid restrictions. We remain distant and isolated from community involvement, even though Fresno State strives to keep the community connected. For that reason, I’m running for student senate to represent our voices. As a student senate member, I will improve upon Fresno State’s core values and bring back more student events. I want to incentivize students to come back stronger than ever while maintaining safety at the forefront.
