Hi! My name is VARUN RAJ. I am a third-year biology major pursuing a career in healthcare management. Over the last three years, I gained extensive experience in student government as Co-Chair of the ASI University Affairs Committee & Student Representative in the Academic Senate. I created the Students Innovating STEM – SISTEM Club – to educate peers about unique STEM-related career opportunities. My experience in these organizations educated me on the 3 most pressing student issues: finding ideal career opportunities, providing more accessible technology, and being a better student advocate. I plan to solve these issues by promoting guest speakers in various professions to increase awareness, building on programs that provide students with better access to technology like DISCOVERe, and having students guide my agenda. I will build on these issues and improve the collective Bulldog experience. I encourage you to participate, have fun, and VOTE VARUN this spring!
